Primary Duties

The Warranty Specialist provides administrative support to the service department on warranty-related issues.  Filing time-sensitive documentation and planning need in regards to warranty claims, RGAs, resubmittals, and warranty registrations, etc..

Responsibilities:

  • Review warranty registration and Personal Information Agreement forms for accuracy.
  • Maintains information in an organized manner for distribution into the company network drive for all aspects of warranty.
  • Process  Warranty registrations timely.
  • Assist the Warranty Manager with warranty claim filing as required.
  • Document and track credit memo filings for warranty claims filed by dealers.
  • Assists dealer personnel in the proper submission of warranty registration and claims.
  • Invoice suppliers/Vendors for all applicable warranty claims.
  • Assists in the RGAs process.
  • Create and assist with data plate creation for FL modifications
  • Monthly reporting on warranty and service metrics
  • Assist the Director of Aftermarket with reporting and documentation of recurring issues and communication with HQ

Other duties and functions appropriate to the position as assigned by the manager from time to time. Work environment and other requirements:

Wrok Environment:

The work environment is a non-smoking office environment.  No heavy lifting required.  Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage.  Accommodations can be made for handicapped employee. No travel is required for this position.
