HMH Hosts 3-Day Dealer Event Showcasing New Equipment and Resources

Norcross, GA – From April 12th to April 14th, Hyundai Material Handling (HMH) hosted nearly 100 attendees from its key North American dealers at their 2023 Dealer Meeting. With a theme of Building for The Future, the meeting introduced Hyundai’s most innovative new equipment and included a tour of the company’s new forklift-dedicated parts distribution center that houses over $7 million in inventoried parts.

Among the key products introduced to dealers were Hyundai’s new LC-9 Series forklifts that feature advanced diagnostic technology and an all-Hyundai powerplant; a new 100D-9V diesel powered workhorse that meets the world’s most exacting emission standards; and new B-X Series electric forklifts that optimize the latest in Lithium-ion battery power.

For the first time, Hyundai also introduced a full line of Class III models, giving its dealers the most comprehensive lineup of equipment in the industry.

“At Hyundai Material Handling, we’re truly building for the future,” said Lewis Byers, Executive Vice President/COO. “It’s essential that our dealers know all that we’re doing for them and their customers. Bringing together our best dealers to showcase our latest products and our new parts center will help them sell and service their customers more effectively. We’re committed to growing our dealers’ businesses.”

The meeting also featured a gala awards dinner held at the world-famous Georgia Aquarium, during which awards were presented to eighteen dealers. Among the evening’s big winners were Lift Solutions, with eight locations across the Midwest, and Lonestar, with seven locations across Texas. The award for the top dealer of the year, the Chuck Leone Award, went to Thompson Lift Truck, with more than twenty locations across the South.

The event also attracted supplier sponsors, including OneCharge, Stryten Energy, and DLL Financial Solutions. The gathering also brought senior Hyundai executives, adding emphasis to the importance of the meeting and the value Hyundai holds in its dealer network.
