The ProMat 2023 Show in Chicago was the place to be for thousands of manufacturing, supply chain, material handling, and logistics professionals.  And, this year, Hyundai seized the opportunity provided by ProMat to help promote its move into Lithium-ion battery technology – and promote the Hyundai Material Handling brand at one of the hottest events at the show.

First, Hyundai was proud to be part of the OneCharge booth in the exhibit hall.  OneCharge is an industry leader in the development of Lithium battery technology for material handling.  Hyundai Material Handling and OneCharge have entered into a strategic partnership to bring this technology to the Hyundai North American dealer network and its customers.

During ProMat, a Hyundai 20BT-9U electric forklift featuring a OneCharge battery was on display at the OneCharge booth.  In addition to the OneCharge team, Hyundai staff was also on hand to help promote the partnership and emerging Lithium battery technology.

After hours, on Tuesday, March 21, Hyundai threw one of the biggest social events of the show at Chicago’s famed Redhead Piano Bar.  The club was filled to capacity with show attendees who networked, noshed on hors d’oeuvres, indulged in an exclusive Hyundai cocktail (among other libations), enjoyed a cigar lounge, and were serenated by a piano duet.

It was a great evening – a chance to make new friends and get reacquainted with old ones.
